What changes
Searching a website is mostly guesswork
A site's standard search field checks whether your word appears literally somewhere and then returns a list. If you have a question, you get nothing or too much. Edge Zoek reads your pages the way a person does and answers in plain language, with the source included.
Results as you type
Every letter instantly shows the pages that match, with a snippet of text around it. No AI, so always fast and unlimited.
Answer to a question
"How much is delivery?", "Do you also have size 46?", "Are you open on Saturday?" After Enter, the AI reads the relevant pages and answers in a few sentences at most, with links to where it is found. If it does not know, it says so and points to your contact page.
You see what people ask
Your portal shows what visitors asked and whether there was an answer. This way you see what information is missing on your site, often the reason someone drops off or calls.

The script picks light or dark itself, based on your page. Language: Dutch, English, German or French. You can provide fixed information that the AI always knows, such as opening hours, delivery costs and your returns policy.

- Turn on Edge SearchIn your Edge portal under Search engines and AI › Search. We read your public pages (up to 600) and build the index. Within an hour the search bar is on your site.
- Updated every nightNew or changed pages go into the index automatically. On Sundays we read everything again and remove pages that are gone.
- Only your textThe AI answers only from fragments of your own pages. No made-up prices or policies, and never the name of a supplier.

Good to know
Does it work with WordPress, Shopify, Magento or custom builds?
Yes, with any site that runs through Netslim EdgeTM. We read the pages the way a visitor sees them. The platform does not matter and no plugin is involved.
What happens to pages that are not public?
They do not go into the index. We skip pages with noindex, your checkout, cart and account pages. The search bar only knows what Google may see too.
Does the AI make things up?
It only gets fragments of your own pages and the instruction to claim nothing beyond them. If something is not in there, it says so and points to your contact page. Every answer names the pages it comes from.
Does it make my site slower?
No. The script is small, loads after the page and only talks to our servers when someone actually searches. Your web server does nothing for it.
What if the AI answers for this month run out?
Then the suggestions keep working. Only the answer to a question waits until next month. Most sites never reach that. We keep answers to the same question for three days and count them once.
Can I turn it off temporarily?
Yes, with one click in your portal. Within a minute the script is gone from your pages. The subscription continues until you cancel it under Services.
