Indexing · part of Edge SEO

Is every page in Google?
And if not: the fix included.

Search Console tells you that 310 pages return a 404 or that 502 pages are "crawled, not indexed". Netslim Edge asks Google for the real status of each page, groups them by reason and fixes what the edge can fix. With one click, or automatically with Auto mode.

The problem

Search Console tells you what is wrong. Not what to do.

You see numbers per reason, a few example URLs and the button "Start validation". Which 404s matter, where to send them, which duplicate pages lack a canonical and why Google ignores your good pages, you have to work out yourself. Page by page, in a developer ticket, and then you wait for weeks.

How it works

From Google status to fixed

  1. 01Check every pageYour sitemap, your pages with impressions and everything Googlebot requested via the edge. For each address, the status as Google sees it, via the official URL inspection.
  2. 02The fix per reasonRedirect or 410 for a 404, a canonical to the page Google chose for duplicate pages, links to pages Google ignores. At the edge, without changing your site.
  3. 03Back to GoogleAfter three days we check the address again. If it's correct, it moves to Fixed. That way you see what it delivers.
What's included

What the edge fixes for you

  • The real status per pageIndexed, crawled but not indexed, duplicate, 404, server error, noindex: per address, with the canonical Google chose and the last crawl.
  • Redirect 404sTo the page that matches best, or a 410 if it was removed on purpose. Also in one go for all the clear cases.
  • Duplicate pagesA canonical to the address Google chose itself, so your pages don't compete with each other.
  • Orphan pages and internal linksWhich pages nobody links to and how deep each page sits. The edge adds links itself from pages on the same topic.
  • Sitemap errorsA 404, redirect or noindex in your sitemap: you see it right away, with what to do.
  • Auto modeThe edge makes the safe fixes itself: clear 404s and canonicals to Google's choice. You watch along and can undo everything with one click.
  • What's missing?Does Google ignore your page? The edge compares it with the number 1 result for its keyword and says what's missing: length, subheadings, questions, tables, schema.
  • What it deliveredPer change, the clicks from Google before and after, with your site's trend removed, and what that means in revenue.

Honest

Google decides whether a page gets into Google. With "crawled, not indexed", it comes down to content and internal links: the edge helps with links and shows which pages are thin, but nobody can guarantee it. Google allows a limited number of checks per site per day, so for large sites the first round takes a few days.

Frequently asked questions

What do I need?

Edge SEO and a connected Search Console. For URL inspection, our account in Search Console sometimes needs "Full" permissions. You will see this in your account, with exactly what you need to do.

Will anything change on my site?

No. The edge handles redirects, canonicals, noindex and extra links at the edge. Your website itself stays as it is, and you can undo any rule with one click.

How soon will I see results?

The fix goes live immediately. Google usually checks again within a few days to weeks. After three days, we ask Google ourselves. In Search Console, click "Start validation" to speed it up.

Can't I just use Ahrefs or Semrush?

Those tools guess whether a page is in Google. We ask Google ourselves, per page. And where they give you a list of errors, the edge fixes them too.
