How quickly is my domain active?
Most extensions are registered within a few minutes after payment. You will get a confirmation by email.
How do I know if my domain name is still available?
Type it at the top of this page. We check live with the registries. On the Domain name available? page, you can also read what you can do if the name is already taken.
Is the domain in my name?
Yes. You (or your company) are the owner of the domain, we are the registrar.
What if I forget to renew?
That is hardly possible: we send an invoice and reminders well in advance. With direct debit, it happens automatically. Don't want to renew a domain name? Then turn off automatic renewal in your account.
Can I register a domain name without hosting?
Of course. You can also point the domain name to another party by changing the nameservers.
