Honest

The edge translates what the web server delivers as HTML. Text that a script only builds in the browser (some web shop filters, chat widgets) stays in the source language. Translations are done by AI: good, but check your most important pages, especially legal texts. And Edge Translate only works if your site runs live through Netslim Edge.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to install anything?

No. Your site does not change. The edge does it on the way to the visitor. If you want the language switcher in a place of your own, you add one empty element to your theme.

Can I edit the translations?

Yes, each piece of text separately in your account. Your version always wins over the AI and stays in place, even if the text on your site is translated again later.

What does it cost?

Edge Translate costs € 29 per language per month per site, or € 290 per year. Translation is included, however many pages you have.

Which languages?

English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Polish, Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, Finnish, Turkish and Dutch (for sites in another source language).

What happens to my web shop?

Cart, checkout and forms go straight to your own server. Only the text around them is translated. Prices get the notation of the language (€ 9.95 becomes € 9.95).
