With every WordPress package we install WordPress automatically, with a fixed set of plugins and secure settings.
The plugins
- Wordfence (recommended): firewall and two-step verification for administrators.
- Netslim Captcha: keeps spam out without puzzles.
- Netslim Speed: a faster site, with the licence included in a WordPress package.
- SMTP2GO: the official plugin to make sure email from your site arrives.
Locked down straight away
Editing code from wp-admin is off, error messages are not shown on screen and XML-RPC is off. That way a stolen password cannot put code on your site.
Site email
Do you have site email on the same domain? Then we install the Netslim Site-mail plugin for you, with the details filled in. All email from your site then goes through our mail servers.
Log in
Under Services, your plan has “Log in to WordPress”: one click, no password, in a new tab. If you log in from a network we did not know yet for your account, you get an email. That way you notice right away if someone else logs in.
