Email is separate from your website and runs on its own mail server. If your site goes down, your email keeps working. Add business email from € 2.49 per mailbox, or use Google Workspace or Microsoft 365. We set up the DNS (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) correctly.

What is the difference between web hosting and WordPress hosting?
Technically, it runs on the same fast servers. WordPress hosting is tuned further for WordPress: caching, WP Toolkit with automatic updates, staging and one-click cloning. Ideal if you focus on SEO and speed.
Do I get a free domain name?
Yes, if you are new to Netslim. Take web hosting or WordPress hosting and choose yearly payment: then a .nl, .be or .com domain is free for the first year, newly registered or transferred to us. With a VPS or dedicated server, you always get a .nl, .be or .com included, even if you are already a customer. After the first year, the domain renews for free as long as your plan keeps running yearly. If you switch to monthly or cancel your plan, you pay the regular price for the domain. Did you first buy only your domain from us? Then take hosting with yearly payment within 60 days, and you get back what you paid for the domain. One free domain per plan. The domain is registered in your own name.
Can I cancel monthly?
Yes. You cancel monthly plans at the end of the current month and yearly plans at the end of the year. You cancel yourself in your account.
Is email included?
Not included in the hosting plan itself: email runs on a separate mail server at our end, so a busy or hacked website never affects your email. You add business email per mailbox (from € 2.49 per month excl. VAT, € 3.01 incl. VAT), in your account under Email. Prefer Google Workspace or Microsoft 365? Then we set up the DNS correctly. Email your website sends itself (forms, orders) goes through our mail servers with the site-mail add-on, with a verified sender and tracking.
How fast is my hosting ready?
Right after payment, we automatically set up your package in Plesk. You will receive your login details by email within a few minutes.
Is DDoS protection really included?
Yes. Every server sits behind our DDoS filtering as standard, at no extra cost. Read more on the Anti-DDoS page.
Where are the servers?
By default, they run in ISO 27001-certified data centers in Germany and Finland, within the EU. Your data falls under the GDPR and you get a data processing agreement. Do you have specific requirements for the location, for example for a tender? Ask us and we will see what is possible.
Why not a deal of € 0.99?
With a promotion like this, check what you pay after the first year, and whether SSL, daily backups, DDoS protection and migration are included. We don't use a low price for the first year only. Web hosting costs € 4.95 per month excl. VAT (€ 5.99 incl. VAT) with us, and everything above is included. If you pay per year, you get two months free, and as a new customer a free .nl, .be or .com domain name that stays free as long as you pay annually.
