Keywords and opportunities from your Search Console

Which keywords are almost on page 1, where a better title gives more clicks right away, and which pages compete with each other.

1 min read · updated 11 Oct 2026

If you have connected Google Search Console, go to Edge SEO › Keywords in your account to see which keywords you are found on. These are Google's real figures for your site, from the last 28 days. Updated every night.

Three types of opportunities

  • Almost on page 1: keywords at position 8 to 20. Moving up a few positions gives the most here. We show how many clicks per month it roughly adds if you reach position 3.
  • Too few clicks: you rank high, but fewer people click than average at that position. This is usually down to the title or description in Google. You change these on the edge, without changing your website.
  • Pages that compete with each other: for the same keyword, Google alternates between different pages of yours. Pick one main page and link to it from the others.

More

Your best keywords with the change compared to the previous 28 days, how many of your clicks come from your brand name, the biggest risers and fallers, and the split across devices and countries.

Honest

The estimates assume an average click rate per position, so treat them as a guide. If you want to know where a competitor gets their traffic from, look under Competitors: top pages, keyword gap, backlinks and ads, with estimates from DataForSEO. We do not have our own backlink index of the whole web with years of history, like Ahrefs and Semrush have.
