Edge Shield
Your site stays where it is. We put our own edge servers in front of it, in Germany. Attacks, brute force and malicious bots are stopped there, before they hit your web server. Also with Cloudflare in front, and on any platform.
Attack mode
During an attack, visitors first get a short browser check, with the hold button from Netslim Captcha if someone keeps pushing. Search engines pass straight through.
Firewall and brute force
The firewall (WAF) blocks SQL injection, XSS and scanners. Each IP has a maximum number of requests and login attempts, so brute force on wp-login stops at the edge.
Bots under control
Fake bots out: fake Googlebots via DNS, fake ChatGPT and Perplexity bots via their own IP lists. For each AI crawler, you choose whether it is welcome, and we block suspicious paths before they reach your server.
Your server out of sight
Your web server's IP stays hidden, with security headers on top. Block IPs or entire ranges, and open the admin area only from your own IP or VPN.
We keep watch
In case of an attack, outage or an unusual number of errors, we get an alert right away and step in. You hear it from us, and also when everything is back to normal.
Stays online during maintenance
If your web server stutters, the edge serves the last good version from the cache. During a migration, we put up a clean maintenance page, while you see the site.

Security audit
We test your website, server and processes the way an attacker would, and you get a clear report with priorities. Smaller audits are billed by the hour (€ 100 - 150 per hour excl. VAT). Large audits are quoted.

What is a DDoS attack?
Distributed Denial of Service: an attacker uses a network of hijacked devices (a botnet) to send traffic to your server all at once. The server gets overloaded and becomes unreachable.
Does the protection cost extra?
No. DDoS protection is included as standard in all our hosting. Even if you are attacked, we don't send an extra invoice.
Will my visitors notice anything?
Normally not. Real traffic just continues. Only suspicious traffic is blocked.
My site isn't hosted with you. Can I still be protected?
Yes, with Edge Shield. You only change your DNS. Visitors then go through our edge servers in Germany first, which block attacks and forward the rest to your own server. Works with any platform, even with Cloudflare in front.
