The waiting room during busy periods

With the waiting room, the edge lets in only a fixed number of visitors at a time. Anyone who arrives after that sees a clean waiting page with their place in the queue. They continue automatically as soon as there is room (first come, first served).

What do your visitors notice?

• Visitors who are already in notice nothing and stay in as long as they are active.
• New visitors see their place in the queue. The page refreshes by itself.
• Search engines, images and other files always bypass it.

Set up

Let us know a few days before your campaign how many visitors you expect. We set the maximum and your own text, and we turn the waiting room on and off. If you use multiple edge servers, each server has its own queue.
