Using Netslim Edge and Cloudflare together
Keep Cloudflare, or switch? Three options, and what to set up.

Netslim Edge and Cloudflare work fine together. Choose what suits your visitors.
1. Cloudflare in front, Netslim Edge behind
For sites with many visitors outside Europe. Cloudflare stays your CDN and firewall.
- Point the A and AAAA records in Cloudflare to our edge (the IP addresses are in your welcome email).
- In Cloudflare, set SSL/TLS to Full (not Flexible).
- Is Cloudflare bot protection turned on (Bot Fight Mode)? You can leave it on. If you want us to run an Edge SEO Scan, temporarily add an exception for our IP under Security › WAF › Custom rules.
The edge recognises traffic from Cloudflare and uses the real visitor IP for statistics and security.
2. Netslim Edge only
For Dutch and European sites: everything in the EU, one point of contact. You point the records to the edge in your own DNS management.
3. Cloudflare for DNS only
Happy with Cloudflare DNS? Set the cloud to grey (DNS only) and point the records to the edge.
