Trend Lava: create posts and videos in your own style

You can find Trend Lava in your account under Trend Lava. You use it to make Instagram and TikTok posts and 9-second videos with your own logo and colours, without Canva and without a designer. Without a plan you can view and try everything. Saving, downloading and sharing need a plan (Solo, Pro or Bureau, cancel monthly).

Step 1: your brand style

Open the Brand style tab. Give your brand style a name and choose your logo (svg or png) and your colours: main colour, accent, background, text and secondary text. Enter your website. It appears at the bottom of every post. The AI uses the tone and fixed hashtags when it writes for you. Click Save brand style. If you have several brands or clients, create a brand style for each brand (Pro: 3, Bureau: 15).

Prefer not to do it yourself? With the setup (one-time), the AI reads your website and sets up your logo, colours and tone. It then creates 12 posts right away, with a caption, hashtags and a suggested date. You get an email when it is ready.

Step 2: create a post

1. Choose a style: Clean (light and calm), Bold (full colour block, large letters), Editorial (paper and serif), Playful (round and cheerful) or Mono (black and white). In your brand style you set which style is the default.
2. Choose a template: Terminal (heading with status lines), Checklist (benefits), Price (large amount with explanation), Quote, Photo portrait or Photo wide (with your own photo).
3. Choose the format: feed (4:5), story or reel (9:16) or square.
4. Enter your text. Put one word in the heading between asterisks, like *always*, and it gets your accent colour. The preview on the right updates right away.
5. With a photo template you choose a photo (jpg, png or webp, up to 15 MB), the position using the nine points, and whether it fills the frame or fits the width. A dark gradient always covers the photo, so your text stays readable.

Let the AI write

Open Let the AI write the text and describe in one sentence what the post is about, for example new summer collection, 20% off until Sunday. The AI then writes the heading, the subtext, the lines for the template, a caption and hashtags, in the tone of your brand style. It does not make up prices or facts. Always check the text: you remain the sender. Each time uses one AI text from your monthly allowance (Solo 150, Pro 500, Bureau 2,000).

Download, share and save

• Photo: a PNG at full size.
• Video: an MP4 of 9 seconds without sound (so you can add your own music in Instagram or TikTok). The photo slowly zooms in, your logo glitches briefly, the heading decodes itself and the lines are typed out. It takes a few seconds to create, and you see a progress bar. Use Chrome, Edge or Safari for an MP4 that works everywhere.
• Share: on your phone, the file goes to Instagram or TikTok with one tap, with your caption included. On a computer, you download it.
• Bijschrift en hashtags kopiëren zet de tekst op je klembord.
• Opslaan zet het ontwerp onder Mijn ontwerpen, met een miniatuur. Daar kun je het later openen, dupliceren, een andere naam geven of verwijderen. De datum bij Gepland op is een notitie voor jezelf.

Good to know

• Trend Lava plaatst niets zelf op Instagram of TikTok; jij plaatst de post.
• Wat je maakt is van jou, ook voor advertenties.
• Je foto’s en logo staan alleen in jouw account. Opslag per pakket: 500 MB, 2 GB of 10 GB.
• Overstappen naar een groter pakket kan altijd; het oude stopt aan het eind van de maand.
