Adding Netslim Captcha to your website

In WordPress with one click, or with two lines of code on any other site. Plus: what it does and what it doesn't.

Netslim Captcha keeps bots out of your forms without pictures: a visitor holds a button for just over a second. Free up to 10,000 checks per month per sitekey.

WordPress

  1. Download the free plugin on the captcha page and upload it under Plugins › Add new plugin.
  2. Go to Settings › Netslim Captcha and click Connect with Netslim.
  3. Log in, click Allow and you are back in WordPress. Done.

It then automatically protects login, registration, lost password, comments, WooCommerce and the forms of Contact Form 7, WPForms, Fluent Forms, Gravity Forms and Elementor. Updates run automatically.

Any other site

In your portal, create a sitekey under Captcha. Add the script and the widget to your form, and when the form is submitted, verify the token on your server with your secret key. The examples for HTML, PHP, Node, Python and cURL are on the captcha page.

How it recognises bots

  • A signed statement that can't be faked or reused.
  • Computation in the browser while the button is held: unnoticeable for one visitor, expensive for a spammer.
  • Real input and how you move: a script moves perfectly straight and identical to the millisecond, a hand doesn't.
  • Headless browsers and automation tools such as Selenium, Puppeteer and Playwright.
  • A token that works only once and for two minutes.

Honest

No captcha stops every bot, not even Google's. What this one does: make spam slow and expensive per attempt, without cookies and without tracking your visitors.
