Can I test more than one site?

My shop has 100,000 products. Will my server notice?
No. During the trial we fetch a few dozen pages at most, to measure and to fill Site Health. Other than that, traffic only comes through if you (or someone with the trial address) click around. Live, the edge takes load off your server, because pages come from the cache.
Can I share it with my team or with whoever decides?
Yes. Invite colleagues to the trial for free: each gets their own account. With one click you create a report with all the results, as a link or PDF, plus a document on privacy and data location for your IT or privacy team.
And if I want to go live after the trial?

DDoS protection at every level
The data center absorbs network attacks. If your website is under attack, visitors first get a short browser check. Search engines don't.
Firewall (WAF)
Stops SQL injection, cross-site scripting, backdoors and scanners before they reach your server. Automatic mode only blocks what a normal visitor never does, with a log of the last 100 attacks.
Rate limiting
A maximum number of page requests and login attempts per IP. Brute force on wp-login and xmlrpc stops at the edge, not on your server.
Bots under control

Cloudflare in front, Edge behind
For sites with many visitors outside Europe. Cloudflare stays your CDN and firewall (SSL on Full), Netslim Edge sits behind it for SEO, bot insight and the waiting room. The real visitor IP is passed through correctly.

For Dutch and European sites. One layer less, everything in the EU and one point of contact. Your DNS can stay with your own registrar, you only change a few records.

For Google, every product, category and filter page is its own URL. The edge does not charge per page: you set titles, meta and redirects per page, per pattern or in bulk via Excel. What exactly is edge SEO?
SEO changes that don't happen in your website itself, but in a layer in front of it: the edge. Every request from a visitor or search engine goes past the edge first, which improves the page according to agreed rules before it is delivered.
Does anything need to change on my website?
No. Only your DNS changes: your domain points to the edge instead of directly to your web server. The edge fetches the pages from your web server as always.
How do I see what it delivers?
In your account at netslim.nl, under Edge SEO. You connect Google Search Console once (you add our read-only address as a user). After that you see your clicks, impressions and average position in Google per day, with a line on the day we went live. You see the 28 days before Edge next to the last 28 days, which pages rose the most and how many errors Google no longer finds. Every Monday you get the same in your email.
How do I get there? Through a separate portal?
No, just through your account at netslim.nl (My account › Edge SEO), where your invoices and services are too. One login, with two-step verification, and you only see your own sites. We manage the technical rules. You see the result, approve proposals and can edit titles and meta in bulk yourself.
We have 100,000 products. How many pages is that?
Google counts every URL as a page: products, categories, filters and variants. Often there are three times as many as your products. For the edge this makes no difference: you pay per domain, not per page. We handle it with patterns (one rule for all products) and per URL where needed, and you can edit everything in bulk through Excel.
What does work cost that is not in the package?
Development on your own site, content work, a migration plan or a security audit: € 100 - 150 per hour excl. VAT, depending on the type of work. You always get an estimate first.
Can my team have a look?
Yes. Invite colleagues, your agency or your developer via Edge › Team. Everyone gets their own account with their own login and two-step verification. During the trial this is free. After that it costs € 10 per team member per month, excl. VAT.
Does it work with my platform?
Yes. The edge works at the HTTP level, so it works with WordPress, WooCommerce, Magento, Shopware, Shopify, Lightspeed, Next.js, custom and headless sites. We detect which system you use and set up the cache for it (login and cart cookies differ per system). If we don't recognise it, we ask you. With Shopify, the gains are mainly in SEO, AI and control, because Shopify already has its own CDN. For WordPress we add a few extras, such as the real visitor IP and a notification to Bing as soon as you publish.
I use Cloudflare. Can that work together?
Yes. Cloudflare can stay in front of the edge (SSL mode Full). The edge recognises traffic from Cloudflare and then uses the visitor's real IP for statistics and security. Many customers remove Cloudflare after a while anyway. One provider and everything in Europe is simpler.
Can the AI just change things on my site?
Only if you want it to. The assistant is off by default. You choose: warnings only, suggestions you approve, or automatic for small things. Redirects and pages with a lot of traffic always need your approval by default, and every change can be undone with one click.
What about the GDPR?
The edge runs in Germany. We don't store full IP addresses (the last part is set to 0), no values from the address bar and no data from logged-in visitors, and we run no access logs. We keep individual visits for 60 days. For your site, we are the processor, with a data processing agreement. The AI assistant only receives public page text.
Is this cloaking?
No. Visitors and search engines get exactly the same page. Cloaking means showing Google something different from what people see. We explicitly don't do that.
What if the edge goes down?
With Enterprise, at least two edges run with automatic failover. With Edge SEO, in an emergency you can switch back within minutes by restoring the DNS. And if your own web server stalls, the edge serves the last good version from the cache.
If my site is built well, will ChatGPT and other AIs include me?
A good structure is the foundation: AI can only mention what it can read well. But nobody can guarantee inclusion; for each question, the AI picks the source that gives the best answer. In Edge you see, per AI crawler, how often it reads you (search index, live questions or training), which pages, whether they are real bots, and how many visitors AI assistants send you. And most of what AI needs, such as text in the HTML, an llms.txt and schema, the edge handles at the border.
Will it slow down my site?
Usually faster: static files are served from the edge cache, with HTTP/3 and modern compression. The edge itself adds a few milliseconds.
Does it work with Cloudflare?
Yes. The edge can sit behind or in place of Cloudflare. In the intake, we look at what works best for your situation.
How fast does it go live?
Usually within two weeks of the intake: first on a test address, then live via DNS.
